"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny."
I began practising yoga around March 2011 following a bereavement. I had been interested for a while without following up on that interest however I found myself confused and anxious, sad and guilty and indeed almost every emotion known seemed to be my constant companion.

Finally I went to Gemma's yoga class after a recommendation from my daughter. What I experienced was a class facilitated by a true professional who helped everybody, experienced and inexperienced, with equal consideration. When I say it was immediately effective it is no exaggeration. I found that for the first time since suffering the loss I was able to clear my mind and have some head space for myself and my thoughts whilst at the same time working towards a level of flexibility and strength which I had not experienced before, and I had been a sportsman!

I still practice and I am still reaping the benefits, both mentally and physically, which is a testament to the professionalism and dedication that is a hallmark of how Gemma's classes are organised. Varied and interesting and never boring with the focus on the participant getting the most from the class. I would highly recommend Gemma's yoga practice, it has been of enormous benefit to me and I hope it will be for you too. Like me, you will be happy that you tried it.
